This is what I posted to Tony:

Having gotten a chance to beta-test TR09, I have made the decision to buy the product. Honestly, I never care for the classic series, and did not bought it. However, my time spend testing the newest version have given me an opportunity to "spin the wheel", in a matter of speaking...

I like the new design, very refreshing ... better on the eyes then the classic series.

I like how you can organize your content within the game, basically allowing the user to have CMP with you in the game.

I like track work and how it looks...

As of content, I have created over 1000 items so I can take it or leave it!

However I like the work on the baseboards...

Although I feel trainz can improve more, and perhaps in the next version they can implement more flexible features like adding a mini window with the view map in which the route creator can see the layout from an aerial shot while he/she is working on a layout in surveyor, etc and stuff like that. Still, overall, I am happy.

Also, the price is appealing as well ... but I ma not motivated by price all together...

Congrats Auran ... you have done a fine job, not perfect, but good enough for me to open my wallet, and I am sure Tony and Company would say, that's good enough!! 

But don't get over excited either Tony -- Trainz can go even further, and that decision does lie with you!

Multi player, mini-window for layout creators, more industrial interactive, crane trainz where the user can hop on the cab of a crane and load his/hers supplies, more interactive with products both visible and invisible ... etc etc

BTW. are we getting any first class voucher with the purchase of TR09, as we gotten with previews purchases?

Nice opinion, Ishie. Hope many trainzers agree you and the Trainz project can go beyond the scope of the end of this century. Railway/railroad is an old kind, but oldness doesn't mean uninteresting and futureless...

I know we can use 512x512 texture, but can we also use a 1024x1024 since it's still a value of 2!?

Yes, 1024x1024 is value of 2! like 2048x2048 or 512x1024 or 1024x512.

All of these are 2!

BTW. Have not forgotten your building -- will work on it and release with other stuff .... for sure!! I know I know, it took forever... basically of the coloring textures, which I am not so knee of yet!! but working on it

I don't think so although it is normal that the textures are 512x512 but in DS there are textures of 256x1024 or 512x1024.

The 1024x1024 side are also valid.

Nice Ish, and Tom.  I had not seen this even though I have the TC, and it looks great.  TC is no longer on my computer, 2006 and TC had a huge fight one day.  Up to round 6 it was touch and go to see who may win.  Then in round 7 2006 delivered a huge blow to TC with more Built-In content behind him.  TC was not yet down with improved graphics and other features brought out in Round 7.  By round 10, both where a little wobble on the computer but still fighting it out.  It was left to the judges to see who would win after round 12.

The judges, 2006 and TC did not see the results as 2004 sneaked in to attack from behind

I know you don't upload your stuff o the DLS, which makes me sad, because I can't use them in my Desert Route, however, the package mention here is a superb idea and creation... with your permission, in the future, I would like to duplicated the items, using other colors an schemes and themes, but still keeping with the concept.

If you agreed, credit to you will be clearly stated in the cdp, config file, and at Auran's forum, and here and any other forum I am involved in.

Hello Everyone,

I've been absent lately due to 2 reasons:

1. Wify, baby girl, and me are moving to Tampa, 2 hours from here, where Busch Gardens is at, Florida.

2. Pete and I, with Lorin input have been working on a route together. it's early as Pete is have made the terrain, but none the less, it's coming along nicely. When it's all done I am going to create sessions for this route, etc and will create Spanish sessions (my wife will translate it for me)! I have been creating p[lent of stuff, and also will be asking Alberte for a couple of favors as well, later on!
