I came across this video on you tube -- since I am about to use Alberte's Coal drop off Basic in conjunction with my power plant, I had this though to look at coal train in real life!!

Yes Ishie, the same but due to different meshing coal stone size can appear slighly different.

Slowly getting back into trainz, working once again on my desert layout!!
I have noticed that you have made some new industries Alberte - I was looking at all of your stuff at the DLS last night, like the Mina Tierra Werde, etc ... All of your industries in one fashion or another will find itself in my layout -- In fact, I might have take new screen shot of your industries in my layout and post them up here! Only Manuel has seen those screen shot, but that was a while ago!!

Well, my Desert Layout is really taken shape -- it's just huge, with many industries to choose from, however, I have not added any portals - now it's the time to add these portals!

I would like your insights and opinions about using portals!

I know that I should be asking this at Auran Trainz, but that forum has left a bad taste in my month (let just say I missed the good old days) -- anyhow, any views, guidelines, tutorials .. anything at all, no matter how minor, just to give me a sense on how to go about placing and setting portals!

My idea of my layout to have portals only at the cities! My layout has lots of counties and small towns, but a few huge cities, for example;

  A very good shots and very impresive big city, here in Spain that citys don't exist, well, there're two or three citys like that shots, but with less big skycrapers.

About the portals.

Well, it's a very good idea if you don't want to put many consists into the route, you know that many consists need many Pc resources.

You want to use the portals for creating and deleting consists in real time and send many consists instructions at time.

My opinion is that, is a good idea for making a good session for a very good layout like your layout.

The portal idea is really just to have them in the layout -- I don't want to use them, only in sessions, just to create that traffic train illusions!! In other words, when someone launched the layout into drive the portals should not activate themselves -- this is where I feel Auran dropped the ball -- they should have paid lots of attention on the portals!!

Aside from your Airport Cargo, I have created these signs - these signs can be place against my factories and storages items or anyone you guys wish to place these signs on ... the bottom line is that now we can contract Alberte's Storages and/or freight to take care of our valuable items!! I have place these signs at designated areas across the Desert Layout -- not in all towns because there are like 5 such companies bidding on constracts, lololol

Let say your wife, sister, whoever are expecting a child, so you visit this site - mark the date when the baby is due and your e-mail -- each month they send you an e-mail detailing the stages of your child's development, for example, the legs, arms, and neck and head are being form for our baby for this period in time -- it's a Calender site which tell you clearly for that period in time what's being developed!

Well, recommend to anyone that you may know that's expecting!! It's really cool to know the stages of development!!

Hi Ishie.

In norway, there are atleast 6 of these sites available.
My wife runs one of them
They are great tools for all who is expecting a child.
They provide a lot of information i didnt know i needed

Are you aware that theres also one site only for the "Dads"?, i loved that site.
Gave a lot of info on why are most woman bitchy and mad while they are pregnant, and all kind of question and issues you as a guy might have.
I'll see if i can find it, and post a link.
