No, I have not made any desert plants lately. At the moment I have focus on large trackside vegetation, trees, shrubs and other "large" vegetation types.

If you want something specific, I can make it for you, no problem...

The upcoming tree/shrub set will have several colour versions available (dark green, light green and autumn) so the route builders can choose from several colours to fit their needs.

..I will post some shots here later.....

Only me again... :?

I believe there is needs for shrubs to cover tracksides, so I make shrub groups out of the tree set at the same time...

...made some smaller adjustments in the shrub groups:

- all re-made as splines (all (tree models) made as shrub groups will be splines)
- colour more dark
- "digged" them into the ground

They are not finished yet, The largest set will be re-sized to a smaller version and added with more different sub models.

..more shots..

I have not got the set ready yet, and I'll have to use one more day to get them ready. However, many of the shrub splines are nearly finished, so I post some shots of them here....

This shot shows the alpha corrected version of the spline (they are both available with and without this correction). This one have the '^' tag to indicate alpha correction.

All shrubs here are splines. They are also (all) available with corrected alpha image. They have the '^' tag attached to their names.

Behind, David Drake's Midwest town are used in this layout.

More shots and (hopefully  ) a download link tomorrow....

Hi Jan,

There's nothing specific at this time that I need, but thank you very much for asking -- appreciated it!!

I am going through one of those spells we all get at least once a year where we don't think or do anything with trainz for weeks and weeks. I asked just to make sure that I have not missed any new stuff !!! When I do get back into trainz I got this idea for my desert layout - I will create the largest greenhouse dome and throw some of your stuff in it and then added a brand new station so passenger can get off at this stop I will called "Jan Plantation Museum" to show my gratitude and appreciate for the desert plants you did on my request!! -- thank you again for that Jan!!!!! :D

Your current stuff looks awesome and well-detailed!!! :D

27 new items
- all shrub groups as splines
- all trees as scenery objects, except for a Maple avenue spline.
- all shrub splines also have a 'alpha corrected' version available, they have the tag '^'
- several of the trees and shrubs have been re-made

This set has the  V.I.P status, no mini image or DSL upload (I have not stopped making DLS content , I will make new set's later and most of it will be common available and uploaded to DLS)

THX Alberte, I really appreciate your kindness and hard work for all Trainz fan.  :), and also to all of you buddies out there :)

Next up are some more shrubs, they will be both as splines and scenery objects. The needs for medium sized objects along tracks are present, so I will continue to make those kind of vegetation.

I'm waiting for a clear sunny day to take pics, so I can use my camera. Meanwhile, I'll use some files from my 'library'

...shots coming soon

More greenery ready for takeoff...

More shrubs ready!.

Just 4 new models, both as splines and scenery objects

..to space up between tracks

.. shrub spline

this one has a rather 'exotic' look and can only be used in certain situations.

Wild Roses as splines....

Alberte will host the new files :) so you can download them later if you have a dead link.

...stay tuned for more...

cheers

Jan

THX for commenting on my work :)!!!

I am currently busy creating new items for CaddyLars new yard. This yard will be much bigger than Emma yard, and it will contain NEW vegetation objects created from new models. Currently 35 new objects have been created, and I must say they look great (I usually do not bray about my own work  :? :?, but I have put a lot of work in this upcoming project and I have to say I am very satisfied with the result as I have usen new tecniques to create these ones).

Many of the new items are made from own pics (in .raw format). The new vegetation will contain:

- ALL items are non-splines (order from mr. CaddyLars), however, this is a great advantage as you can copy and paste the objects. Also scenery objects look better than splines and splines drinks more juice from your PC
- Trees (mostly low to cover trackside)
- many new grass objects
- herbs (mostly dry)
- many shrubs 1-4m

I leave up to Alberte and/or CaddyLars to post pics of them as I play the role as supplier to the new layout
. At sometime (and anyway when the layout are ready) all these items will be released for the community, again, Alberte and CaddyLars decides when this will happen.

...so I'll be busy for a while.... 8)

cheers
